The Mutidā
2024
Was focused on the dharmic concept of joy—sympathetic joy derived from delighting in the well-being and successes of others. This pure joy, unadulterated by self-interest, without personal gain.
Through meditation, reflection, and group activities, participants explored how to cultivate this joy by looking inward with honesty, humility, courage, compassion, and maturity. We took responsibility for the immature ego that creates suffering and separation, expanding our minds to see with the eyes of the heart.
This retreat was about understanding and experiencing joy in its truest form, celebrating others' happiness even amidst our own challenges.
